Runes of Magic

Runes of magic, a new free to play MMO that’s also available as a small box edition for around 10 € in Germany (and Europe?) .

A German games magazine called it a “free alternative to World of Warcraft”.
I read it up and the class system sounds nice. Battles as usual. ^^

Whatever the guys from this magazine were smoking it was definitely not enough.

Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X.

I saw the trailer and got my hands on the demo: Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X.

The graphics are awesome. The sounds just fine. The controls horrible!
Why the fuck did they have to screw up the controls so much in an otherwise good game?!?! *argh*
It looked like as if the game could be a new flight game for me in a damn long time. But no!

The controls are so stupid in my opinion that the actual fun or high altitude battle is lost.
I don’t get it why developers can create such beatiful graphisc but fail in delivering useful controls.
Why do they always have to try to get uber-realistic, complex or super-many-combination controls?

Another game down the drain…

Email under siege

Sometimes working off your emails in office is like playing “Defend your castle”: You do everything to get rid of them and hope they wont take siege of your inbox the next day but in most cases its just the same game another level. 😀
