Its crazy, fun and a blood fest.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Finally I got the time to watch the DVD “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”.
Decent couch entertainment. I was expecting less judging from the first movie.

The movie had great potential but wasn’t used, too bad.
Here and there a few funny scenes gave the movie the easieness from the first installment.
Doom wasn’t necessary in the movie. They could have come up with something better. He was just a plain “look-trough” character.
Also the movie focused too much on the Human Torch (the fire guy). The other team members were cut too much.
The final “confrontation” was a hyped but cheap final as in “we are weak and someone else does the work”.
Further, the ending (after the first two credits) was typical MARVEL. Same old stuff.
Quick, easy and simple popcorn couch entertainment but not what you’d call big cinema.
